Services: 2002 marks the FCCTF¹s 25th anniversary of providing advocacy and action on behalf of children in Franklin County. It is an organization of concerned citizens, directed by a dedicated volunteer board. Communities in Franklin County have come to expect excellent programs from the task force: home visiting for new parents, parent education and support, professional
education and technical assistance regarding maltreatment of children, violence prevention program for bullying/teasing prevention in the local elementary and middle schools, and leadership in county-wide coordination of child/family services.

Services: Assessment of nutritional needs, nutritional counseling, well-baby checks for infants under one year. Vouchers issued for milk, cereal, juice, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, and dried legumes. Intended to be a supplemental nutritional program.
